Then understand that ANY bowl will be good for us. Extra practice for the team. National TV audience. Will the revenue be the same? Of course not. But there needs to be no complaining when we go.

The ACC is a hell of a lot better than it was when CPJ got here. We were passed in almost every way by all the other schools, not because of the failures of our coach, but by our administration. Those failures are being corrected.

Any Bowl better than none? Perhaps.

However, if we went to a bowl with a 6-6 (or heaven forbid a 5-7) record we would get extra practice time with a staff that led us those records.

National Exposure? Depends on the bowl and 50/50 on good/bad exposure.

Revenue? Often times schools lose money on bowl games. But I think conference tv deals have helped that situation.

ACC better than when CPJ got here. Really?

um - better now than when ccg was here?
fsu - better now than pre 2008?
cu better now for sure
unc - better now? Think not
duke - better now but says very little.
ncsu - they might think better now, but thought they were better during chuckie red shoes & Rivers.
vt - better before
uva - getting better but not as consistently good as before IMO
pitt - ?
bc - not sure but they were pretty damn tough with Matty ice, and beat a richt ugag team
cuse - IDK

The ACC is no where near tougher now, imo, than when CPJ got here.

Just because I'm curious, please enlighten me on what metrics you are using to come to this conclusion. Pretty much every team in the country besides Alabama has gone through periods of up and downs the past 10 years. No conference is really all that much different than they've always been outside of the domination of Alabama throughout all of College Football.
