How many of you believe TM hasn't peaked yet? I do. JeT didn't peak in his first year. There are so many nuances to the offense and looks by defenses. Spacing will improve within the offense, too, which will help with decision making. Several times I saw a pitch read if only the Aback was a tad bit farther away from him.

I don't. He's missing some reads. That said, his arm is what is making many of us think of his replacement. He just doesn't have the zip on some of the long passes. He should really work on his arm strength this off-season. It would also be nice to have a QB who can see over the line a bit better.

Taquon has still been a great asset this year and is a good QB. I don't want to take anything away from him. He still has some ceiling left to reach too.

That’s what I meant with my poorly worded post. I believe he’ll be much better next year. He’s just a tad off on a handful of things that only experience can teach.

I think if LJ or JJ were that special they would be out there playing ahead of TM. They can transfer if they want but their best chance of playing FBS Division one collegiate football is to stay where they are and continue to work. Stuff happens and you never know when your opportunity will present itself.

Just depends, really. One of the best things you can do to win football games is to get your best players on the field. If either of those guys advances next year to the point where they're right with Taquon, then it wouldn't surprise me to see Taquon move to AB or WR...This is by no means a knock on Taquon, I'm just thinking about how we can get our best players all on the field at the same time

You can improve arm strength. It's not something that's easy to do, but it can be done.

It's really all about throwing volume. Your arm will strengthen. I don't know about his mechanics, but that can make a big difference as well

I don't really think so. And if Marshall has small hands -- Washington for instance -- then it is compounded.

If they end up right with TaQuon, TaQuon would still be QB1. He's done all the right things, he's a team player, and he's been tested in the line of fire many times.

We do have three young ABs who are not seeing PT yet, Jarrett, Gantt, and Mason + Two walkons with decent size and skills, Turner and Rew. We are recruiting a couple of good looking ABs in this class so numbers of ABs is not a problem.
