Nationals starting pitching is doing things that boggle the mind. This last time through...the last 5 games, all 5 starters including today (so far)... They've given up 1 run. A solo HR off Scherzer last night. It's unbelievable.

Yep agree in nickname thing. My "Brets" reference was a combo of Braves/Mets. Nats need both to lose... 1 will 3 times this weekend... trouble is... 1 will win too.

Wow the Nats really humbled the Cubs I bet Joe Maddon is looking forward to not managing a sliding Cubs team in 2020. I think that Joe will retire so that the Cubs ownership wont have to fire him. I think the Cubs will be .500 or worse in 2020 and not make the 2020 NL Playoffs.

Players weekend is great for baseball. The players love it, and it appeals to the younger crowd and it doesn’t change how the game is played. I liked it better when the jerseys were the normal jerseys with the nicknames on the back, but it’s one weekend so no big deal.
