Do you think the Braves should bring up Ian Anderson? I would like to take a look at his pitching.

He needs to pitch at AAA for a full year. I would call him up to AAA now though. He has nothing left to prove at AA.

DFA, Luiz Gohara:
Although he’s unavailable this year, it’s conceivable someone will take a chance on Gohara now that he’s in DFA limbo. After all, he’s young, controllable, optionable, and isn’t far removed from a run as a coveted prospect.

Houston probably did better than Atlanta today, for this season.
The Braves held on to more of their top tier prospects for the future.

To think we gave up Allard & Wentz, and have at least two of these three guys through next year-it was an ultra successful day.

Pretty clear that absorbing the Melancon contract, was what SF needed.
