Here's a few things I'd do just in general...

1) Shave off at least 20-25 games from the season. The season is just too long. I love baseball but I hate watching postseason baseball being played in cold weather. Baseball is a warm weather sport. Baseball should be wrapping up about the time football season is getting going.

2) Get rid of all of the Interleague play. It was neat at first but now there's so much of it that it's not "special." I believe the odd number of teams is one reason that there's so much of this now and even though I'm not a fan of expansion, maybe it needs to be done to help with this.

3) Play more day games.

4) It's more than past time for both leagues to either have a DH or not. I think this is one of the dumbest things in sports. The fact that two leagues in the same sport play by two different set of rules is just stupid. Personally, I'm not a fan of the DH. If you want to be able to hit, you got to play the field IMO.

Anyways, enough of my nonsense...
I'm for having the DH in both leagues:cigar:

I'm old school and a traditionalist don't like the realignment article at all and get rid of the DH all together !!
Folty pitched well yesterday, but he's taken Julio's spot on my "makes me nervous" list ...
Got to give props to Donaldson and Albies, looking good at the plate.

I’d like to see a 150 game season. Start everyone on March 20th, scheduling warm weather cities with 10 games to start off their home stand. Break the NL and AL into two divisions each, regionally. All teams play 100 games vs. those 7 other teams in your region/tribalism. Another 25 vs. the other 8 teams in the other division, same league. Remaining 25 games are split up with 15 vs. opposite league, region or division closer to you(Atlanta would play 15 vs. AL Eastern, rotational year by year). Final 10 games vs. opposite league, farthest region(Atlanta vs. AL West, rotational).

No DH. All pitchers must pitch one inning unless injured. 26 man roster, maximum of 12 pitchers carried and max. of 15 position players. Playoff rosters expand to 30.

Playoffs: Division winners play 3 at home vs. opposite divisional second place team, with 2 of the other games in that park. The NLCS, ALCS remains the same with 4 out of 7 games in the home of the team with best record, from the regular season. World Series stays in the same format, except dropping the All-Star game as a determination for a home team. Tally up records from entire season(including post-season games)to determine home advantage.

What is your opinion on MLB expansion? I do think Montreal,Oklahoma City,Las Vegas and Charlotte would be prime expansion locations.

I’d love to see it. The four that you parlayed for us, would be super. Vegas and Charlotte would be my first two, if I were the Commissioner bringing it to the table or an Owner voting.
The biggest problem with Montreal would be could they get the fan support needed. Montreal could wind up being another Miami or Tampa Bay. I think Las Vegas,Charlotte and Oklahoma City would have a lead over Montreal.

just noticed it's now the "Google" All Star Ballot ..... so much for that .. i voted for Bellinger and 8 braves anyways knowing Google will make the corrections as needed.
For NL Catcher i voted for the Braves Brian McCann and for the AL Catcher i voted for the White Sox James McCann.

Believe he will start Friday night in Washington. Looks like Soroka, Tehran, Fried, for the Mets series on Mon.-Wed.
My gosh, I called one right, in advance. Dallas Keuchel that is!

And yes Mike, I want Mike Minor back. No more than one good prospect in return. Not a Riley or a Soroka type. Those dudes are proven to me, as keepers.

So what do you think Mike, about acquiring Mike? Minor that is?
