I’d like to see a 150 game season. Start everyone on March 20th, scheduling warm weather cities with 10 games to start off their home stand. Break the NL and AL into two divisions each, regionally. All teams play 100 games vs. those 7 other teams in your region/tribalism. Another 25 vs. the other 8 teams in the other division, same league. Remaining 25 games are split up with 15 vs. opposite league, region or division closer to you(Atlanta would play 15 vs. AL Eastern, rotational year by year). Final 10 games vs. opposite league, farthest region(Atlanta vs. AL West, rotational).
No DH. All pitchers must pitch one inning unless injured. 26 man roster, maximum of 12 pitchers carried and max. of 15 position players. Playoff rosters expand to 30.
Playoffs: Division winners play 3 at home vs. opposite divisional second place team, with 2 of the other games in that park. The NLCS, ALCS remains the same with 4 out of 7 games in the home of the team with best record, from the regular season. World Series stays in the same format, except dropping the All-Star game as a determination for a home team. Tally up records from entire season(including post-season games)to determine home advantage.
