The Braves will promote top position-player prospect Austin Riley to the majors, according to David O’Brien of The Athletic (subscription link). Ender Inciarte is expected to be placed on the injured list with back tightness; the corresponding 40-man move isn’t yet known.

Please dump Venters. Granted the game was over when he came in, but holy smokes the flames created could be seen in Gwinnett.

He just hit a double. That pitch he was called out on in his second AB was very pitcher friendly. My ideal lineup now would be Acuna, Donaldson, Freddie, Riley, Markakis, Swanson, Albies, Catcher.
