All together with the two team options, 10 years 124 million maximum contract. I imagine if he lives up to the hype he will receive another extension before this deal expires, but it gives him guaranteed money to provide for his family in case he were to flop or have a career ending injury. Win/Win.

Yep. With this contract I don’t see Acuña ever wearing another teams jersey if he lives up to the hype. This is a “We want you to stay in Atlanta forever” type deal

Albies is my FAVORITE player out of all the baby Braves.. I don’t buy jerseys but I bought his last year for my first ever jersey purchase (I’ve been a Braves fan ever since I was born in 91’). Love his grit.... but 8-year $90mil is a stretch for him. If he proves it this year I hope I eat my words.

Sorry to say, and maybe I need to get over it, but Viz scares the heck out of me.
Even though it's early, 2-3 seems miles better than 1-4 !

I’m a huge Camargo fan. Defense, arm, clutch bat with pop. Still trying to see him as a super sub. Might be back at 3B next year or SS one day.

First opposite field HR for Swanson! Nice.

Vizzy scares me too, Jake. Minter back tonight. I wanted Sobotka instead of Venters last night, after the day off. Venters scares me. Shoot, most of the ‘pen frightens me.

Not sure what O’Day will be like in May? Can’t be soon enough for Folty, Gausman.

Still wish we would give up the non-first round picks for Dallas K. and Craig K.

Max Fried with a scoreless first inning. To me he is the key LH, whether we keep stretching him out as a starter or put him in Long Relief. I know you are thinking, what about Newcomb? He has more innings pitched, more established and only needs to straighten out control on his breaking pitches. Fried, needs the opportunity to stick for a full season.

I love Fried. He is honestly my favorite of the prospects besides maybe Anderson. 95 with a 75 curve is a deadly combination.
