i predict that there will be several top rated recruits decommitt from the schools already mentioned, leave school early, hire a agent train for the draft, if they are already in school declaring for draft. The overseas leagues will also have a influx of young talent who have already accepted money. One question I have is will the players be charged or forced to repay the institutions/colleges for the time they misrepresented themselves as a amateur.

This is really, really bad. Penn State was horrendous, Baylor was awful, UNC is unconscionable, but the amateur status of college athletics wasn't at stake as a result. It is now. I don't know what the NCAA will do, but anything less then the Death Penalty will look pretty flabby.

As to Rick Pitino: if Louisville thinks that "unpaid leave" will save them from possible decapitation by the NCAA, they have another think coming. Too bad that there isn't any way to get Bobby Petrino caught up in this. Yet.

The tricky thing for our BB staff is to be able to sift/screen/vet through the recruits who decommitt from schools who are caught up in this scandal to make sure that we don't end up with recruits who are later found out to have received or even requested money from these guilty colleges.
