To save face and money thack being the casualty is not all bad. Makes ge off do what he does best (dc) and allows tstan adequate time to find a replacement.

I will never understand retaining Thacker of all people from last year’s coaching mess. I was never a fan of Patenaude, but the offense was way better than the defense last year.
