With ND and UGA left on the schedule the defensive numbers of yards per game against us should be sufficient to make a change at DC. If he doesn't make a change then he is not capable of being a head coach. May be time for a coach in waiting like Rice did for BL.

I love how when we get turnovers, they were given to us and we had nothing to with it, but when we turn it over, it’s our fault and their defense had nothing to do with it.

Pretty amazing actually.
What is "amazing" is that some people are blind to the fact that Miami, even with well over 500 yards total offense, did their dead level best to gift us this game. What is also amazing is the last 4 possessions we had the ball we got 16 yards. Under normal circumstances Miami would have lost that game as it was a classic trap game.

I don't see how we win another game this year; 3 wins seems like one more than we should've won actually.....somebody convince me otherwise please.
If we move the ball better than we did against Miami, we can certainly win this game. Boston College does not have the players at wide receiver that Miami has but it will be tough to run against them. We will see. I think we can win this one but as for the others...not looking good

BC is maimed & we should win. Which GT team that shows up is anyone’s guess. On one hand I’m hoping we come out focused, with some pride. On the other hand, CGC seems whipped & our team seems to have teamwork issues. Those are not positives, but I think BC’s woes are worse. I’m going with GT and the players carry CGC off the field having breached the dreaded 3 win glass ceiling.

Am I the only one who remembers the first 3 years of Carson, Curry, Ross, and Lewis? None of these coaches had the mountain to climb that confronted Collins. His first full class of recruits will be in their 3rd year next year and we will have bigger athletes on both lines. We will still be short on experience, but we will be improved . How much? We'll have a better idea in February and again in April. Stay tuned. Patience is a virtue.

Not at all. Fumbles are typically bad ball security as a primary reason. Yes the defense can help create it, but it still is mostly ball security. Interception are the opposite, it is usually the defensive play that primarily creates an interception...thus earned.
Even if it's poor ball security, someone has to make a play to cause the fumble.

Curry’s 1st three years were the worst by a long stretch, not even close. He & Homer Rice came in and had to resurrect the program. Those were desperate times. This is a cake walk compared to that. Ross, he had it easy comparatively. Just a locker room out of whack. I wasn’t around for Carson, but he had to follow Dodd. Not like our program was crippled when he took over from what I know.

Curry probably resembles CGC in terms of experience. He wasn’t ready for it either. Ross was highly experienced. We were lucky to get him.

BC 17 - VT 3 / VT 26 - GT 17. As always, it will depend on matchup, but our coaching certainly is a hindrance. BC has got to be looking at this as the best chance to get bowl eligible.

We are a lot more like Vandy Tulane Duke and Rice than NCSU UNC UVA etc. We are falling into an abyss that is extremely difficult to climb out of in college football. Academic institutions are at a major disadvantage with the current situation in college football. It's a long hard road to correct our situation and while it takes money that is not a guarantee for success. It will take top down commitment and good hiring decisions throughout the administration. Our situation is not unlike a lot of corporations that have poor management and are in a continuous downward trajectory. At some point changes become necessary because what you are doing just isn't working and usually a lack of inovation.
