Apropos of nothing, but my ice cream taste is fine. Y'all are just snobs.
Yup, still bitter, and in denial...

Lol please tell me how Banks isn’t a legit big... I know this won’t be taken with open arms but Jose has no court vision and it’s hurting us.Alvarado hustles his *** off, plays good D, and handles the ball pretty good. He’s not a prolific scorer but he can get his share. What he really needs is a couple of shooters he can distribute the ball to. Or a shooter and legit big man inside. He had one of his poorer performances today but bad games happen. JA is one of our bright spots.
I like Banks as a player, he has a pretty solid offensive game. His defense is VERY inconsistent. He makes some nice plays, but every single time he let the guy drive right past him down the baseline. That may not be on him, since there should've been some help defense, but still. Claxton kinda outplayed him yesterday.Lol please tell me how Banks isn’t a legit big... I know this won’t be taken with open arms but Jose has no court vision and it’s hurting us.
I'm convinced he's a winner but unfortunately I don't have any faith Pastner will surround him with a team and game plan that will show him to win in collegeI really like the kid & do so more after that tweet. He had an off game, he owned it. He just couldn’t get it going. It wasn’t all on him, but he realizes he’s the leader of the team. Sad isn’t it that a Soph is the leader of the team, but that’s where we’re at.
I’m more convinced now that Alvarado is a winner. Kid’s don’t assess themselves like that unless they’ve got real leadership skill. He’s going to do some amazing things here if we can just give him a couple extra pieces to work with & the others develop into what we hope they can be.

Jose still contributes even in the bad shooting games. We need to change gritty to gritsy to make him more southern.AS our floor general its time for him to start watching Devoe and give him a kick in the rump each time he passes up an up an openlook three.Devoe finally did do some decent drives in this one. The shot selection will return if someone helps to take some of the scoring load. This young man deserves our support. Period.

In playing time Banks is still pretty young, given that he mostly rode the pines the last 2 years at UT. So, I have hopes that he will improve greatly as time goes on.Banks has potential but he plays too soft in the paint imo. Doesn’t use very good footwork for positioning and just isn’t as physical as he could be in the paint and on the blocks. Just my 2 cents.
Hey, kg01, I was also hoping Phillips would show up more this year than he has. Not sure why.I've been saying all season we need a much more selfish Devoe. Just let it fly, man. I'm tired of seeing him swing the ball to a worse shooter for a worse shot (sic).
He doesn't seem to believe in himself just yet. Hopefully Jose can help reassure him. We need him especially since it seems the TN transfer isn't quite helping us as much as hoped.

I agree. I think Pastner does a good job of getting his guys to play hard. But again it doesn’t matter how hard you play if you can’t draw up the Xs and OsEffort should not be guestioned. Devoe, Moore and others give all they have. It may not meet your requirements and goals, but effort is there. CJP system it’s not effort no play. That’s why you don’t see some on the floor. Sometimes you can try too hard trying to to prove the naysayers wrong and that puts added pressure on the individual. Let the season play out before we question heart and desire
Price was a steal from Oklahoma’s backyard, not under the radar. Sally, however, was most definitely a project. You think Price and Salley were under-the-radar steals? You could not be more wrong. Price underdeveloped? His father was a HS coach and Billy Tubbs wanted Price so badly he would have crawled over broken glass to have him. The only reason we got him is because Tubbs pissed his father off. Do some homework before you post this nonsense.
Let’s show this young man some support.
