I want Miami with a 6 scholarship player situation and playing their 3rd game in as many days. Then I want three of their starters to trip getting off the bus and watch our bench get 35 minutes and cruise to a 40 point victory.

I understand the concept that if we lose, it would look better to the selection committee if we lose to Clemson than to Miami, but I agree it would be better to have our first game against Miami than Clemson.

Yesterday's results were not surprising. #13 beating #12 is not much of an upset and #9 beating #8 won't be either if it happens. My game of interest today is Miami vs. Clemson. I have to go back a long way to find myself pulling for the U, but I have never wanted Clemson to win in anything.

Mine suggested this sunny weather would be a great time to get some of the yard work done that we put off this winter. I reminded her that App State was already in the dance and these games were important.

You just need to find the right wife. I told mine that I would be closing down the home office and firing up the home entertainment center at 2:30 on Thursday to watch the Tech game, and she simply said, “I’m jealous—keep me updated.”
