Hatchell's may survive her problems at UNC at least until her contract is finished after next year. Her problems are not nearly as substantiated by other players as our coach. She was on a hot seat over the AFAM s scandal 2 years ago but survived when ncaa was twarted . Her academic advisor for her team took the fall and retired. I think she goes out without another contract renewal.

I don't get the "will hire an agent" and "has the ability to return to school" in the same press release? Are there new rules that allow a formal agreement with an agent to guide them through the process?

UVA also just took a commit from Justin Mckoy from the Raleigh area. Plus under the new rules I understand Jerome still isn't officially gone. Not sure how much room they have at this point and when transfers have to declare versus NBA final commitment?

Guy also declared for the draft making it a trifecta for UVA. However he did specifically say he is hiring an agent but keeping his option to come back open.

I am not surprised at this. I think his intention was always to try for the NBA, but return to France if that did play out for him.
