I loved the comment that Valvano said about Muggsy. "You have to know where he is on the court at all times". Saw muggsy play at the ACC tournament in Atlanta. Fun to watch him play. Spud Webb was in the league about that time. He was a towering 5 ft 7 in and could dunk.

I like to make fun of Jim as much as the next person, but this is indeed really awful for everyone. Sounds like Jim had no fault in the accident based on what I can read - but you can be sure he's going to have nightmares about that sound and impact for a long time.
