Parker Stewart has confirmed he will not be returning to Pitt.

Also looks like Marcus Carr is unlikely to return.

I posted that link on the Josh Okogie thread yesterday. There are some gems in that article, especially where it says guys ranked around #50 should go back to school. Duval and Trent don't really have that option. Maybe they never got serious about their classes at Duke. After all, in their minds they were automatically bouncing straight to the NBA. All they had to do was endure a season at Duke.

Also, not only do they only really have to go to school for 6 months, but alot of them are in classes that frankly aren't taxing.

Another good article from that same site on Villanova's development model.

Thought this was an interesting comment
"player drafted in the second round might get only one chance to crack a rotation before he gets written off as yesterday’s news. There’s only so much a player can develop by watching from the bench, especially in the NBA, where teams rarely practice once the regular season gets underway. A player who gets sent to the G League may never make it back."

The G League is made up of grown men in their mid-20s fighting and clawing for a chance to play in the NBA.

So that’s twice they’re not being taxed.
