I think Virginia will play UGAG in the Orange Bowl. I think LSU and Alabama will go to the FBS Playoffs and UGAG will be left out.

I sure hope so. If LSU beats Bama to get into the SEC Championship Game here in Atlanta, I am seriously thinking about going to that game to root against UGa.

Both are solid hires. I have a lot of friends that are Wake alums so I am happy for their success. That is one tough place to win at.

Taggart was a bad hire from the beginning as most had predicted. That is a significant buyout. Just shows how desperate these schools are to win at all cost. It's gotten crazy.

F$U did Oregon a huge favor by taking Taggart off their hands. Jimbo should have been given another year or two at least. Helfrich too, now that I think about it.

I think FSU knew they might have trouble finding a quality head football coach since they fired Willie Taggart after less than two seasons and hired someone they knew would take the job.

Hard to believe he was the best option they could get. I think the Memphis coach or the Wake Forest coach would have both been better options. Oh well. Stoops will do better than Taggart, but that ain't saying much. They might could have went after Satterfield at Louisville, if they could afford his buyout.

He'll coach FSU for 3-4 seasons and wind up getting fired for only winning 6-8 games a season at best

Where do you see that? I don't see that reporting either on his twitter or in his SI column about FSU posted 3 hours ago. I would be surprised if Mark Stoops would make such a decision so quick. He has it pretty good at UK, with a $4.25 million salary, pretty moderate fan expectations, and clearly the potential to have some pretty good seasons (10-3 last year with a bowl win over Penn St).
