The CFP needs to be 6 teams. The five P5 winners and then ND or the highest rated G5 team. 1 and 2 would get a bye, 3 would play 6 and 4 would play 5. It makes the path to the playoff simple and teams will get rewarded for winning their conference. I think that it would create more parody in college football because it would give a G5 team a chance at a championship.

Even simpler.....Take the ten conference winners...lowest four ranked play round 1, you get to a field of eight and play from there. Shorten the regular season by one game. If you are not in a conference.....to bad.

Not only is Miami struggling vs Pitt but Richt is the most wound up I've ever seen him. He was short with Allison Williams at halftime, now he's screaming at Rozier like PJ screams at linemen. Good game so far.
