ESPN ACC Week 5 power rankings: It's Clemson and everyone else
i
6. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (3-1, 2-0): Don't look now, but the Jackets are once again making it known they have plans to be Coastal Division contenders. They get a bye week to prepare for Miami as the schedule gets harder in the second half of their season.

Hate to say it. But, Clem and son is one friggin scary azz team. Their D has to be one of the best in the nation, if not THE best. Their offense seems to be getting better, each game. It's almost possible that they are better this year, than last year. Don't get me wrong.. I would love nothing more than piss in their Corn Flakes, and upset them. But, in doing so, would probably take the ACC out of the picture for the playoffs.
Yeah. I still can't believe they were able to pull Venables from OU. Dude can coach, and it doesn't seem like he wants to leave for a HC job any time soon (and why would he...would have to take a pay cut to HC a G5 school).

FSU is a garbage fire without Francois. They'll need to basically win out to get back in the back end of the Top 25, and that probably isn't happening.

They're a garbage fire because their OL is one of the worst in the P5. If you can't protect your QB, or run block, you're not gonna win many games. Doesn't matter who you are.

It will be interesting to see what happens in the FSU game this weekend. I originally hoped Miami would be so focused on that game they might not be paying enough attention to us. Now I would not be surprised if Miami ran up a big margin on the Noles.

I don't know how many OL coaches FSU have, but somebody should be fired for how bad they've been the past couple of seasons. There's no reason that a place like FSU can't put together a competent OL.

Yup. It's not like they haven't recruited well along the OL either.

It's karma biting them in the @ss for poaching Tre Jackson from us at the last moment. With him & Shaq manning the G spots, we would have had All-Americans (and future Pats starters) on both sides...that 2014 team would have been unstoppable up the middle!

Kinda like what's going on now with Braun, Cooper, and Devine? ;)
