I don't question Clemson's D; it's obviously awesome. But since I didn't really watch that much of the game tonight, I just questioned whether beating Auburn, especially as close as it was, really showed all that much. There is no doubt they will give us hell, and, other than us, I hope they run the table.

You have to play a perfect game to beat Clempson in Death Valley.

If you can't see Clemson's D is killer then I don't know what you're watching. Clemson does not miss open field tackles and when they hit you, you go down right there and not 2 yards forward. There are maybe 5 teams in the country you can say that about. I don't think they'll miss Watson as though as much as they'll miss Mike Williams. Bryant is a slight downgrade but still a good replacement for Watson. Williams made that team championship caliber.

Auburn is stout defensively but Clemson was impressive tonight. They looked championship caliber on D tonight.
I quit watching UGa-ND at halftime. I had a bad feeling about that. Never been a Brian Kelly fan and he undercoached Smart tonight.

So far this season, the Panthers have been below average in that area, with five touchdowns and two field goals on 10 trips inside the 20. That total scoring rate - scores on 70% of the team’s red zone drives - ranks No. 111 nationally, but the real problem isn’t total scoring; it’s touchdowns.

Pitt’s five touchdowns on 10 drives - a 50% touchdown rate - is tied for No. 89 in the nation. Obviously it’s early in the season and the sample size is small (17 other teams have a 50% touchdown rate right now, too, but the Panthers aren’t currently prolific or explosive enough on offense to survive on a 50% touchdown rate.

I think they're both better than some here think. I wouldn't be surprised to see each win 7-8 games.

The Dwags will be 8-4 at best. I think they lose to Tennessee in Knoxville,to Florida,Auburn and GT in Atlanta. They could still lose the ND game.

Our loss to Tennessee is going to be hard to swallow at the end of the year when Tennessee ends up with five losses.
Especially when all their losses are in the SEC.

I can't see them with 5 losses(I think they've got too much talent and the SEC East is weaker than it was in 2016) I see them going 9-3 which could be enough to win the SEC East by one or two games.

I think they beat a poor Florida team 24-21 in Gainesville tomorrow and beat UGAG in Knoxville and have losses to Alabama,LSU and one more team.

I don't think they lose to Georgia. I think they lose to Florida Alabama and LSU but i don't see them winning the east. I think Florida still does that with wins over Tenn And Georgia.

UGAG crashing and burning their way to the Music City Bowl would be nice. I think Tennessee winds up playing Wisconsin in the Outback Bowl after they lose to Alabama in the SECCG.

Yet even with those 4 losses they would still be ranked in the top 25 because of the SEC factor. Still not a bad loss.

I disagree with this. If it were just an L and I hadn't seen how it all went down I'd agree. But it's a bad loss no matter how you spin it based on what happened.

don't look now but UVA is actually not embarrassing the ACC in an OOC game today
