Lost 2iar to puke / unc. 1 - 2 vs Pitt I believe. Lost last 3 of 4 to cu. 2 - 7 vs um. 2 - 6 vs ugag / vt.

Even if we get to 6 - 6, that sucks. Especially with a schedule including 2 smaller schools from Ga, BC, Vandy, puke. Time will tell

I find it hard to believe that we will not sweep Georgia Southern, Duke, and UVA. They just are not that good. The real question is can we steal a win from UGA, Carolina, or Virginia Tech? Not unless, we start playing better, much better defense.

I'd like to plug in the game stats, but I think this is best statement. We are highly likely to finish around the 7 win mark, but we could have done better with two areas of focus ... our ability to force turnovers is non-existent and our general approach to defense does not complement a TO offense.

The pre-game radio show hit this on the head. One of the players said, "we need to stop missing our assignments". Yeah! But the question is why? Is the play not clear? Did you not know your assignment? Did you not review in practice?

CPJ must be frustrated. But he's in charge and owns the staff and what they do for him. I still think Todd needs to force him to make better decisions.

I don't see 6-6 but it is possible. I figure we should beat GS. We will struggle with Duke and UVA because they are passing teams and we don't get pressure. We should beat them but if Duke doesn't turn it over like they have in their losses, we will be fortunate to beat them. UVA beat Duke in Durham last week by forcing 4 interceptions and batted down at least 6 passes at the LOS (Duke throws quick, short, ball control passes) and UVA started jumping up to block them since they couldn't get to him earlier). They forced the Duke QB to fumble in the end zone for a TD late to seal the game. I'm afraid the Duke QB will be more seasoned by the time we play them and make fewer mistakes against us.

Never said that. They'll be easier than Duke and we need to try something different now.

UVA likes to go with the deep passes and will challenge our safeties. If we don't get pressure they will be very, very difficult for us to beat with our secondary. I think our offense can move the ball on them and maybe control the clock enough to outscore them. I don't see any for sure games left on the schedule. I hope we can get to 6-6 for the seniors to go out with a bowl game and get the extra practice time for the younger players. So much for the pre-season high hopes of this team.

I have no idea where our record will end up, but I feel we are in no position to look past any team on the schedule. Nor do I feel any team we play can look past us. It should be a fun finish.
