why are 2 big12 teams playing in a bowl? i know they didnt play during the regular season but this is dumb.
The Pac 12 still has tie ins to bowls and for 2024 and 2025 there is an agreement to fill them with former teams. Colorado is there as a Pac 12 representative. Cal was also a Pac 12 representative in their bowl.

ESPN was so unbearable during the BYU / Colorado Match.

Even down 22 at they were still hyping up Colorado and showing highlights of Shilo Sanders.

ESPN has forgotten how to be neutral in these games and let money take over instead

Now 36-7 for BYU. Maybe Deion should have spent a little more time coaching and a little less time shooting commercials.🤷🏻‍♂️
That weren't far from being a playoff team this year. Maybe we need to do some more commercials.

🤷‍♂️

They stopped being objective long, long ago. I can't decide if they're shameful or shameless.

It makes no sense either. They have a monopoly either way. Why sell your soul?

They’ve learned how successful it is to push a narrative. They’ve been watching the various news agencies do this in politics for decades, if not centuries.

sEcSPN has become the worst at broadcast sports. The “broadcaster” is now the godfather of conferences. They cannot be neutral.

Since we are done watching the Mizz and Iowa game to watch ol- qb - wr. I thought our pass blocking has become spotty to the point king just dinks and dunks short passes.

The Mizz TD drive = Qb has a clean pocket and at 5 seconds throws to wr that breaks to get open .- 3 nice gash plays then TD.
Iowa runs back punt

On 25
Mizz on offense again. Clean pocket throw at 4 sec and for 10 yd completion, designed qb run first 10 plus late hit, reverse, run reverse now 2 and 16 , clean pocket but throws at 3 second for strajing wr = gash to 20. , run run 1 st 10 at 8., pass at 3 seconds = TD

The time between snap and qb pocket getting spotty should be a measurable stat.
We were spotty in the b ham bowl.

Now towards end i see the Mizz ol is still keeping the pocket clean for 5 seconds. Passes are on target but some are dropped.

I note that the Iowa run blockers get push and 2 usually block till they fall down..

Question
On run blocks are ol men now coached to not leave thier feet?

Well Alabama lost...kinda quiets the narrative that they should have been in the playoff brackets
I’ve been watching some of the Cheez-It bowl on ESPN, and the only thing that was silenced was discussion about Alabama. They didn’t have time since they spent a lot of time talking about how the ACC has done poorly in bowl games. Granted, we’ve stunk the place up during the bowl season, but there has been no mention on their part about the fact that the SEC is barely above 500, and there are two teams that” should’ve been in the playoffs (Bama/USCe) lost/are losing. I can’t wait to hear what Bald Finebaum has to say.
