Any predictions today?

My wish would be for ACC wins and SEC loses but that’s not likely. Texas has yet to play a good game against a top team all year, unless you count Texas A&M. They are overdue and Clemson is back to Clemsoning.

Tennessee and Ohio State should be a good game but Ohio Sate should handle them. Except that SEC teams always seem to play with a chip on their shoulder against teams up north.

SMU and Penn State is the most intriguing match up to me. SMU is sneaky fast and seems to take a lot of opponents by surprise. PSU is just their usual solid, tough team. It could be a blow out either way.

I honestly think their luck runs out next Saturday against ND. Defense wins championships, and ND has one to exceed Ugag's.
Hope so.

I’m counting on Stockton having a bad day. Every phenom has to have at least one of those when they move up to college level competition. The Notre Dame defense played one of the best games I’ve seen all year against Indiana. Hope they can bring that level of intensity again.

No predictions, but the first two games in particular will be fun to watch.
As you mention, SMU and Penn State seem exact opposites. Clemson might have a surprise waiting for Texas. Hope the Longhorns are taking them lightly.

A Clemson win would give the SEC apoplexy.

Of course, it would take them a nanosecond to spin it that Texas was just so beat up from playing in one of the most difficult SEC championships in history.

My thoughts… I took the ND ML over Indiana parlayed with that with the Texas ML over Clempson.

And on a separate ticket, I took ND to win it all at +750 odds. I don’t like ND but they’re the second best team in the playoffs - only behind Oregon.

I have no read on SMU / Penn St and stayed away.

I like Tennessee a little and took them +7.5 on a small ticket.

ND to win it all at +750 is looking good. That defense. Interested to know what kind of deal you got on the Texas/Notre Dame ML parlay.

Golly… who do you think he means when he says other teams are more deserving? Probably Miami, right? :ROFLMAO:

His $EC $horts endorsement does not mean he takes money directly from the $EC.

What a joke. I mean there will be blowouts in the CFP, just like there are in March Madness. You want each game to be decided by a fieldgoal as time expires? What a joke of an analyst. I wonder if he'll feel the same way when the mutts get curb stomped in the Sugar Bowl....

SMU and Indiana, two teams with great records but don't look like they are competitive at this level . Strength of schedule at play here

ND vs Penn
SMU vs Indiana
Would have probably been better matches

The SMU QB is rattled. Not looking up. Penn State and Texas schedules were not any harder.

Home field matters a lot as well. 25 degrees with a feels like 11 degrees.
