162. Braves: $367,500 slot....Isaiah Drake taken in the 5th round by the Braves. So at least we'll get to see him within the Braves organization.
The Final ESPN Draft Rankings-
HS:
#40. Drew Burress
#45. Tai Peete
#72. Antonio Anderson
#272. Isaiah Drake
GT:
#186. Kristian Campbell
#282. Jake DeLeo
The 7th Round last year was between 198.5K and 249K.So Burress is the only one not drafted so far? What notional signing bonus are we down to?
Note Reid not drafted yet too?

No Burress or Reid, yet.
I had read somewhere that Burress might be a tough sign. So, good for us!Probably good on Burress as he probably told teams, no thank you.
Reid may have gone in the portal since he didn't expect to be drafted high enough. Hopefully he stays.

The only problem for DeLeo is that he's a Junior. He'd have no leverage next year.If I was a high school kid and had a chance to play at Ga. Tech and get a quality education and sign a measly 300k signing bonus I go to Tech. If I was Jake DeLeo I would come back another year would boost him up into a top 60 pick
Do you want to be on this list? None of the 8 CWS teams is.
I assume it's guys who signed LOIs with those [college] teams. This is only prospective signees right?

My thought was you "want" to have 100% of those signees land on campus. The bad extreme is you spend recruiting resources on the best HS players... they sign but never get to campus (wasted resources). Three doesn't seem like a crazy high number but some REALLY good programs obviously recruited a group not drafted (yet).
If I were drafted by the A's, I may go back to college. From what I've read, the owner of that team is a POS. Although may get to the majors quickly and then be traded if you perform well.Should definitely come back
