2022 Spring Game

Supposedly the first half of the spring game will be drills. 2nd half will be scrimmage offense vs defense.
No kicking/punting. No score keeping.
Not enough healthy players for 2 separate teams so we get just offense vs defense.

I can say that the linemen LOOK bigger. I’m not sure if they are bigger, but they look stout.

I can’t read too much from QB runs where it’s obvious that they’re not going to get hit.

Gibson looks efficient. Watson looks good. Efford looks good.

Aside from the kickers having range in a scrimmage that’s not full speed, I’m not sure what else to draw from this

Gibson is giving me some Tim Byerly vibes. Think he’s outperformed Sims tonight, but Sims still has the homerun ability with his legs and watching the oline, we still need that. Also the snaps needs to be top priority, way too many mistakes there. Need to pursue another oline or two from the portal this summer. Also, much prefer this shorter scrimmage with tackling than last years game of two hand touch.
