It shouldn’t be that tough. This is the classic Georgia Tech uniform that has been missing for 20+ years. nice, deep, dark old gold that pretty much matches the helmet. Sad.

Instead, we get this crap.....just embarrassing.

I too prefer the classic GT uniform. But we choose to field ourselves as spastiks and wonder why our swag doesn’t sell. I personally choose to find good quality white shirts and make my own hats. The crap from adidas isn’t worth what they charge.

Gold end zones look good

They look great. Now just paint the GT midfield logo white and we will be solid. The gold midfield logo is absolute trash. We look like a trailer park.

It's the ****ty navy outline they've been using since 2017 that is garbage. Our floating logo should always be gold with white outline or white with gold outline.

I agree that white with gold outline at midfield pops the best.

Not a fan of solid end zones but solid gold with white lettering looks pretty good - should be the default brand. I really dislike the blue lettering on gold we use with our wordmark.

Why don't we?

Because, per the rules / ncaa / ACC / contracts or whatever, If a home team wants to wear White shirts the visiting team can overrule by saying they want to wear White shirts. Wake Forest has done that several times here.

If we were to play at LSU, and LSU wanted to wear their White shirts, we could over ride that by saying we want to wear white shirts.

But most teams have no problem wearing their dark shirts here.

BUT the point is that WE can not dictate that we will wear White shirts either home or away. No school can do that.

We don’t have the option to wear White shirts for “all” games.

Pretty much from 1996-2002 we wore white shirts for all games. Gold in the 2000 Gator Bowl and at least one other time during the 2000 season and that was it iirc.

Your point stands though that we can be forced to wear dark jersey.

The real question is, why would anybody want the team to wear the same exact uniform for 12-15 games every year? I can (sorta) understand people being upset at the new combinations with blue and grey, but being upset because they wore WGW or GGW is kinda ridiculous. That LSU team with their “iconic” GWG wore WPW twice and GPG this year. If they can change up their look and play for National titles, why can’t Tech?

Thx. And I just do not understand how some seem to continue thinking we have the right to tell All our opponents, regardless home or away, that we will wear G/W/G and they must accept it.

Oh, well.
