I was there that day. The good old days when we recruited well, and played offense and defense well. 1999 was part of the 5 year run of consecutive top 25 AP rankings. We've only had three final AP rankings in the 17 years since than run. People who say we are doing as well now as any time since Dodd retired are just plain wrong.
