Hard to argue the logic but we do have a tough season on the horizon. I think if we make a bowl, any bowl, he will be okay. Personally, I’m hoping for three or fewer losses.

I think an 8-9 win season in 2018 takes Paul off the hotseat in my opinion. I think Paul will retire following the 2020 season.

I think the offense will take care of business this year, and if the new defense is only incrementally better than it was under Roof, then we will pull out some games that we probably would have lost under Roof. I think 8 wins is not stretching it in the least, and I sincerely think there's a chance for 9 or 10.

Option offense..... lol ok. The offense under CPJ has averaged top 30 by FEI and if you take away the two bad years we would average better than 18. Defense on the other hand has averaged right under 70 and if you take the two worse years they are still over 60.
