The order in all those lists is the bowl's selection, NOT the team's standing. If the Belk Bowl prefers a NC team, they could very well take a 6-6 Wake over a 7-4 Tech because it is THEIR choice. Same with every other bowl. If they think a VT team that we beat will bring a better crowd and better ratings.....despite our beating them, they likely will take VT. Tech needs to start bring bigger crowds to bowl games if they want consistently better selection by the bowls.

Maybe we can be the de facto Sun Bowl favorite every year. El Paso >>>> Shreveport and I have no desire to return to Nashville ever again after the last Music City freeze-a-thon. Belk Bowl can choke on NC teams as far as I’m concerned.

No, re: Nashvegas. It was and is a great trip, a lot to do for whole family, close enough for most to drive. It was cold, but you could get that most places 3 days after Christmas

Well at this point even if we beat uga to reach a bowl it'll likely be a terrible bowl no one wants to go to. Sitting at home may be more desirable than playing in Detroit.

Duke will go ahead of us on a 5 win season. They won over us in a tie breaker. They don' travel well though so they are not real desirable by bowls. BB now in play. That' what they care about now. We just want to make the NCAA. They want to win it.

Easy now on Detroit! Lol. I'm there weekly. It's not that bad there. As long as you like casinos and strip clubs.

We may pull an upset for the ages next week and get to go. We may pull last minute shenanigans of some sort with a 12th game against a directional school and get the required 6th win, we may bribe a bowl official and the NCAA to look the other way, we may do all sorts of things but this year and this team does not need to be going to any bowl of any kind, anywhere. IMHO

Vegas thinks so too. Currently Wake -13 on VegasInsider.com. Bet the house, mortgage, lunch money, kids college tuition, etc. on Wake. They are on a roll with an outstanding QB who is a real winner. Love watching that kid play. Only Tech can make Duke look like world beaters. Just flat out embarrassing is all I can say.
