Do they ever consider if their emotional investment effects their research?

LOL. That’s why if you don’t have double blind studies, you might as well throw the research out. When you know who pays your salary and what the goal of the study should be - it’s flawed.

But check that out - the next time a younger person walks down the street live streaming a selfie while complaining about Global Warming, fell free to laugh right in their face.

Well this explains a lot. AGW alarmist “scientists” who are mentally unstable. Yes, it explains a lot.

It’s also striking how dogmatic they are. And their mental instability is directly related to others not “feeling” as alarmed as they are. Very scientific reasoning lol.

If they want mental health help....they should go back and look at the climate models from 40 and 20 years ago....and then reevaluate the world as it truly is. Never mind....they are too indoctrinated to see the world as it is or comprehend the truths that are.

The Cobb lady that the article focused on. Tenured and endowed and hell bent on activism over teaching......at Georgia Tech. How far the mighty has fallen. You are missed Judith Curry.

Thanks for reminding me of Judith Curry; I had forgotten her name. Just to be sure Judith is the person I was thinking of, I Googled her and found the following line in the Wikipedia entry for her --- "she further embarrassed herself ....". WOW Talk about non-objective entries. She never embarrassed herself about anything. And yes, she is missed.

Why Wikipedia for the most part is crap.... especially for any controversial subject.

I had never heard of it until today when I was looking up articles on Judith Curry, but there was a period in world history from about 1000 - 1400 AD, when, at least according to models, there were many places on earth, including Antarctica that were warmer than they are today. That model is called the Medieval Climate Anomaly and seems to be ignored by today's Climate Change gang. This is one link concerning the anomaly; there are quite a few others --- http://iedro.org/articles/the-medieval-climate-anomaly/

While searching around the internet today, I also found an article that said that until 200 years ago there was almost no CO2 in the earth's atmosphere. If that were the case, the entire earth would have been a desert, since there would have been no vegetation. WOW, some of the people are just plain STUPID.

The article overall is BS, considering it's stance on "Global Warming".

OMG, a former HS buddy and one-quarter Tech roomie who has really gone off the deep end since Trump was elected just posted a message to me in FB saying "vegetation produces rather than consumes CO2." He's not only lost his mind lately, he's gone stupid. Vegetation consuming CO2 is a junior high school general science principle.

You probably know that a whale fossil was found where Plant Vogtle stands today. That’s a long way from the current ocean borders. It seems to me that South Georgia and Florida were completely under water once before. I guess my point is that I do believe in climate change...it has always been changing.
