It seems to me you have taken my post personal? IsCPJ your role model lol! Some of you still are arguing off topic here. I simply put he does not deserve a **HUGE DEAL** **RIGHT NOW**. I can deal with a two extension if he beats UGA. Some of you people take GT FOOTBALL to serious.
Trolling + Projection + Delusions of power + Excessive use of caps + Poor grammar = Ignored

Actually, these are your words from your very first post in this thread: "Looking at next year schedule, there is a good chance we could not make a bowl."
Ok yeah I mentioned next season we might not. I have made my argument clear as day for you. Continue on by yourself ;) 2011 was another mediocre year. 3 of those 8 win were against cup cakes. Just stop trying to argue ! I want him to succeed here at GT.

That's why he needs the contract extension, so he can succeed.

As for the 2015 Schedule, which is the title of this thread, I don't see that many sure losses on it. FSU is beatable and Winston will be gone at QB. Notre Dame is definitely beatable. We've proven we can beat at least 3 of the "big 4" this year. I don't see any reason we can't win 8-9 games next year. And even if we don't, 7-5 against that schedule is credible.

I can agree with that but we also lose a lot on offense. I'm not sold on him just yet. I want to see a little more before we lock him in again.

This whole thread is asinine CPJ should always have 4 years left on his contract at a minimum......with a decent buy out/ departure clause that works both ways except for retirement. I understand why it is currently shorter than that....with the new AD hire.....but it needs to be resolved sooner than later. As for mediocre seasons.....I am proud what Tech has maintained over the course of CPJ's tenure. Tech will NEVER be in the NC chase year in and year out. The Institute, its limited majors etc will simply not allow that to happen. CPJ is currently 56-34 at Tech.......15 of those losses were single digit losses. That is a damn good record in my mind.

Direct message me and I will show you I am not *clueless* I can go toe to toe with most tech fans bout GT football(dating back to 98)I know a little something or this thread wouldn't be so active . Be happy there is still some younger fans that still believe in tech and that's hasn't jumped the ship to UGA,Bama,Aub etc..,

I was born in 89 and started going to games in 93. I'm relatively young too and have been a fan for seemingly a long time relative to how long I've been alive. However, I didn't begin to fully comprehend how GT football fits in the grand scheme of college football until the last three years or so. I think maybe this is part of your problem as well? I guess simply put there are a lot of things going against us and while we may not get the results we hope for every year, CPJ gives us the best chance to succeed long term in the current environment of college football.

Have I once said he didn't?? I understand the grand scheme things better than most. Everyone is butt hurt because I have made a few good points on waiting until the season is over before we offer anything. Really that hard to comprehend people??

There's no further point in debating you. You are either a troll or are determined to be willfully ignorant. If beating 3/4 of our major opponent's isn't enough, then nothing will be...

The MOST IMPORTANT piece to our offense is the QB, and CPJ just won 9 games with a first year starter at QB. And that was after all the "experts" wrote us off after Vad Lee left last winter. Everyone questioned who would replace Godhigh's production. A-Back production hasn't been an issue. There is more than enough talent on this team to be successful next year, but your thread wasn't really about the 2015 schedule...

Wow, that is a really arrogant statement given some of the people that post on this site.

Everyone is butt hurt because I have made a few good points on waiting until the season is over before we offer anything. Really that hard to comprehend people??

Your point has been that CPJ must win out to get extended - not simply waiting until the season is over. Nearly every other person who has responded has pointed out the folly in that sentiment.

You really should just do like you said several posts ago and stop replying.

Please.

I am starting to wish we fall flat and we don't win another game just so I can be like " I told you so". Some of you are still missing where I want to wait until the season ends before we do something. Some of you still are wanting to do the name calling. Why? Because you see that I have a good reason to be concerned with signing him as of 11/19/14. Are you worried that I may be right ? Is that why your feelings are hurt ? Some of May have predicted this season to be pretty good but most of you were worried before the season started. Same thing could happen next season where were expecting something good and it might not happen. If your ok with winning 5 games a year then cool( I am not counting the 2 cup cakes every year). I understand some of you don't see things the way I do but I'm still holding onto the sour taste that has been left in my mouth after the 09 season. Losing to the big 4 the way we have , not be able to recruit better than the previous coaches(not this year though )finally.

I love all of my fellow tech fans! We have important game ahead of us and we can all agree on this "To Hell With UGA"! This is directed to anyone that is questioning my faith in CPJ. I am rooting for the guy to prove me and some others wrong about his vision for GT. I want him to. Is he starting to show signs that better days are ahead ? Yes he is! But I want to make sure this isn't a fluke before we do something major. Not even 11 months ago all I was hearing how CPJ wasn't happy and bla bla bla. I don't expect GT to contend for a NC year in and year out! I love the desire for a true student athlete that tech wants in the system. I just think some posters are riding a little to high just yet. Nothing wrong with that one bit! Just like there is nothing wrong with my thoughts on not extending until the season is over. The End.

So, you admit you were wrong in your initial post. Glad we can finally all agree. You have changed your stance quite a bit since your first post.

I personally can not see why CPJ deserves an extension.

I would wait until mid season of next year before I done anything.
