Our last Top 25 matchup in McCamish this season and it's College of Charleston legend Pat Kelsey's first trip to McCamish. Our team has been playing better ball lately and I don't expect them to lay down for a talented Louisville team on a 10 game winning streak. These guys are probably the second best team we've faced all season behind Duke and are really good on both sides of the ball. They don't do anything on the offensive end of the court but chuck 3s and get dunks, which are probably the two types of plays that can get crowds most fired up. Speaking of crowds, I believe UofL does a group charter bus trip every season and we seem to consistently be the lucky team to host them, so it should be a full house. The 3:45pm tip means you should have ample opportunity to get to Midtown early and get nice and lubricated while catching the 1:30/2:00 slate of ACC tip offs so we can equal out the juice their extremely excited fans bring. Be a true Jacket and welcome one of our visitors clad-in-red with a pre-game beer (or whiskey clear) at the bar if you so choose. Students should be out and about with the nice weather and a little bit of "(court)stormchasing" on the table. Anyway, the high 3 point rate means these guys pull a fair number of offensive rebounds off the large carom, and they do a pretty good job of taking care of the ball to boot. There's a reason they are Top 25 with no bad losses.

Defensively, they are again very solid forcing turnovers and owning the boards, however they are very vulnerable from 3 point land, so we will need our guards on the top of their game getting to the basket, drawing defenders, and need our wings to see a 5 foot wide basket on the kick.

Come watch Baye and Ibra Souare swat some Cards dunk attempts leading to transition dunks by Lance Terry like it's an Aidan Birr field goal attempt in the 4th quarter to make it a 2 point game (IYKYK) 😭

Get your tickets sooner rather than later - they are selling fast:
Go Bees!

Nice preview.....Someone said it elsewhere, I could see us making it a game and taking it to the wire or losing by 20.

As you mention, we can all rest assured that Louisville will bring the largest opposing team crowd of the season and they will be loud.

If our fans don't show, they will have homecourt advantage. They're a very good team, well coached, and they have a ton of experience.

It will take an A++ effort. We'll have two loud and proud Jackets in 104, but I hope a few thousand more decide to venture out.

I'll continue to support this team and staff until the final horn this season.

My son has a game that starts 10 minutes before the tech game, so unfortunately we will have to miss this one, but I have passed my tickets along to some tech supporters, so our seats will not be empty. Go Jackets!

The ReviVILLE are on their way

they travelled well to McCamish when they were terrible under Kenny Payne. So now that they're GOOD again, I assume a lot of red will be in McCamish tomorrow. I want to go to have a gold butt in the seat, but part of me doesn't want to spend money just to see us get assblasted. We'll see. Go Jackets!

Line is 8.5. Weirdly same as ND. Recognizing that ND was away and this is home that still seems weird as I believe LV to be a much better team than ND. 🤷‍♀️

You should go to the game. The team usually responds pretty well when there's life in McCamish (Duke, UNC last season) and this should be a point of pride to defend our home arena. As passive as Tech basketball fans are, we don't stand for letting these away fans make more noise than us in our own arena.

I knew Reyne Smith could stroke them but did not realize he's averaging nearly 4 3PM per game on 41% shooting. Mike Devoe-level accuracy but if Devoe doubled his attempts per game. This is probably not the game to give a lot of help defense and just make Chucky Hepburn beat you off the bounce. Here's him hitting 10 3s against SMU a couple weeks ago.

As we were walking across the street, another bus pulled in. I asked the cop directing traffic how many and he said 15. I thought he was joking and the second cop said no he is serious.

This place has been over run with red. There’s at least 1500-2000 Louisville fans here.

Not optimal of course but that’s probably $100k in revenue over a normal game.
