Team played really hard and physical. Even in the first half when Louisville was making everything they threw up, I thought our defense wasn’t that bad. They turned it up a notch in the second half.

Terri gets the headline on the offensive side and should, but I thought the key on the offensive side was Nate who scored pretty efficiently and was 9 assist for two turnovers. Louisville tried to pressure him but they couldn’t speed him up.

The team is finding itself. I just wish they had started the season like this instead of having to wait till last couple of games to see it

That's why you want your point guard or best shooters on the line late. Of course we won despite bad FT' shooter. The better teams will foul bad FT shooters to stop the clock and put a poor shooter on the line. It's part of good coaching.

Of course you’d rather have your better free threat shooters on the line late. Soirée was on the line because he got the rebound which was a good play and immediately fouled by Louisville. Not a lot you can do about that. Wish we had a big that could rebound and make free throws that we could
put in late at the game but we don’t

You will see guards controlling the ball during tournament play during tight games for that reason. We dodged a bullet with a 50% shooter on the line late but that was the way it played out. I'm just glad it didn't cost us the game after such good effort by the entire team.

We were down 10 in the second half when I had to run a quick errand in my car. I get back home and we are up 8 with less than 5 minutes left. Was my reaction to settle in and watch the rest of the game? No, I run out to the car and drove back to where I had been! You're welcome.
