I didn't really think Javian would be that critical to our overall performance when he arrived. I was wrong. Without him, we lack a drive and score guy. Mustaf might be that guy next year, but it's not fair to ask that of him this year, to carry an offense.
Yes we need Mustaf this year we are small and not athletic he should have gotten the ball more in the second half.

The Dome shooting effect was clearly there tonight. It reminds me of when I was a bigger ATLUTD fan (see username) and our team would travel up to NYCFC for a road game. Their field is significantly smaller in both length and width than the typical soccer field because they aligned the pitch from left field to right field in Yankee Stadium. Opponents would shrink their practice field down to prepare but it was simply not enough time to adjust to the difference in strategy and perspective of playing on the unusual pitch when ALL your practice all season long has been on a more standard sized pitch.

Team operations should have either flown the team up to Syracuse on Saturday afternoon or constructed a court in Brock Football Practice Facility to prepare. We probably lost the game because of it. It's not like the team would have missed classes Monday and Tuesday this week had they gotten several more shootarounds and practices in the JMA Wireless Dome.

3-11 @ the free throw lane. Pitiful, I don’t care where you play

I got suckered into wasting my time watching that crap by the two wins at home.
Me too, Senoia......was ready, after two wins, to re-join the "give-a-sh*t" contingent....Won't be fooled again.... Stodumaire was scrappy NBA stud...I loved this hire.....
He is a total failure as GT MBB coach. Fire him tonight.... ZERO hustle...... ZERO effort.....

I was wrong about this team. I thought we had enough shooters that if the team was having an off night someone would pick the team up. Nobody got in rhythm tonight. Nobody.

My only question is why did we look so leg weary tonight? We hustled but were just stiff and slow looking.

Sad Stoudamire stands there most of the time with no emotion or direction to motivate the guys during the game

Players didn’t deserve this one. They didn’t want it bad enough.

Also didn’t like to see BJ and Bonzi hang/shake their heads in disappointment during the missed FTs during the second half (I think I noticed it specifically after Powell’s first miss). I get it, but not sure it helped.

I think I’ve realized that I have no reason to invest any time in this team. Nothing about the players or coaches interests me. At least with Josh I could see effort and fun. I think the football team shows the same. Maybe I’ll just shift to the women’s team this year. Unless it’s snowing, my wife and I plan to go down for the Duke game on the 26th.

I don’t follow. Construct a practice court to simulate the carrier dome? It’s gotta be a regulation size court. Is it a depth perception thing? How are you gonna simulate that? I don’t buy it anyway. Shooters can shoot… anywhere anytime. These guys have shot tens of thousands of shots in their lives in hundreds of different indoor and outdoor venues. I don’t believe there is a depth perception issue, but what do I know.
