You're playing at one of the worst teams in the ACC, they are out their 2nd best player, there are zero students in attendance, the crowd gives Wimbledon a run for their money. There will not be an easier road game all season than this one and you lay one of those aforementioned eggs. I know there are structural issues with playing road games in the Dome but I tricked myself into believing this was a win when I found out Freeman was inactive.

I don't remember a team being outhustled like this. There is no effort on defensive rebounds and 50-50 balls are going to the other guys. It is painful to watch.

The best thing about the game tonight was that it started at 7:00 p.m. and not 9:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Wow! That was one of the most annoying games I’ve watched. Can’t win, especially on the road, shooting 36% from the field, 19% from 3, and 27% from the FT line. 3-11 from the FT line . We missed so many chip shots as well. Frustrating loss!

I was afraid this would happen. The sight lines in a dome are so different. Our shooting was awful.

I thought it was a poorly played game all around.

Then I checked the box score and realized it was much, much worse.

Can’t wait to hear what CDS says. Definitely not his fault; players played horrible. They had open looks. Played sloppy missed FTs! FTs!!! If you get to this level, FT % is solely on player; you can become a reliable free throw shooter with serious practice. We have players who just ain’t putting in the time on this skill. And it shows.

We are 1-4 when Javian scores in single digits and 0-4 when Baye is in single digits. Both were there tonight.

Ugly, ugly.. Missed layups, dunks, air balls, near air balls. Wow. And we do have a problem at the 5. BC's big man and Syr bigs gave us trouble. Mutombo is not the answer. But tonights loss was clearly, absolutely, horrible shooting from everywhere.

I didn't really think Javian would be that critical to our overall performance when he arrived. I was wrong. Without him, we lack a drive and score guy. Mustaf might be that guy next year, but it's not fair to ask that of him this year, to carry an offense.

Major regression tonight. No excuse. Just embarrassing. Hope we got the last crap game out of system. If players don’t come back angry, with energy, effort and diving in next game - and actually hitting FTs - then we got the heart of the Grinch before it grew three sizes.
