There will always be a talent gap as long as Paul Johnson is the head coach. The elite athletes are not interested in playing in our system. Elite lineman don't want to spend an entire game diving at ankles. An elite RB wants to be the premiere back with lots of carries and yards. Elite...

Being the head coach for Georgia Tech has got to be the easiest gig in college football. Apparently a lot of Tech fans are very content with poor recruiting, poor coaching and poor play.

If I was a gambling man, I'd bet that our offense line is terrible.......again! And that JT won't be able to hit the side of a barn. Recruiting does matter.... and the lack of is showing. Stars don't matter? Tell that to Nick Saban!

We need to give the guy a chance We don't know what went on at Memphis. For all we know, some of the players could have been the problem. Maybe Memphis underachieved the last 2 seasons because the team laid down on him. I mean....who knows.

At least we know he can recruit. Maybe he'll have a big change in his personality before he steps foot on campus.

If he can't win in that conference with the talent that he had, then we stand absolutely no chance with him at the helm.

I don't think Capel will leave Duke unless it's for insane $. He's next in line once Coach K retires. I think it's Drew, but we won't hear anything until the tournament is over. The NCAA prefers schools wait to announce until after the tournament.

Valparaiso really didn't play anybody tough on a consistent basis. 2 decent wins were BYU and Florida St. They also played Oregon really close. I really don't think we can look at that though. The 4 and 5 star talent wants to play at the big schools in the power conferences. I don't think Coach...

I'm excited about Drew. Look what we've been dealing with the last 5 seasons. It's got to get better. Tech shouldn't be a hard sell for 4 and 5 star talent. Location, education and new facilities.

Either way it's a big upgrade from Gregory. I'm sure Drew realizes the importance of having a really good point gaurd. As far as Capel...why would he leave Duke?

Looks like MBOB has dropped the ball. You would of thought that he would've had someone in his pocket before firing Gregory. Looks like Gregory 2.0 is on the way!
