  1. Coaching Carousel 8 - Teamwork means never taking all the blame yourself

I guess you can't join their frat unless you go through their hazing ritual. Considering FDU won 4 games last year, I'm sure Anderson was getting noticed.
  2. Bracket Busting

When your teammates asked what you were doing, you should have said "I was feeling it."
  3. The round of 64 starts today! What’s your favorite GT March Madness moment?

That was certainly the most stunning. 1 second left. The ball gets inbounded from half court as Forrest is running towards the ball. Forrest pivots and shoots in the same motion without really getting a chance to size up the shot, basically throwing up a prayer. He's not known for having a...
  4. Post-season Thoughts

I think installing the Princeton offense the first year was a reaction by the coaching staff to optimize the "talent" they inherited by utilizing the strengths of Lammers, who was perfect for the role. IIRC, Hardy had knowledge of the offense and was responsible for implementing it. Once...
  5. ROLL CALL FOR 2023 SEASON: (let's fix our attendance problem)

    Renewed early. 41st consecutive year.
  6. What made the Cremins years so special?

It was probably Maurice Bradford at PF. Byrd was a SG. They were a big upgrade over the prior year's roster. Steppe was far and away the best all around player. Other than Goza and Howard previously mentioned, and maybe George Thomas, the rest of the roster was pretty weak.
  7. What made the Cremins years so special?

If he was a big white center, it was Goza.
  8. What made the Cremins years so special?

Year 1 was Brooke Steppe coming off a missed season for knee surgery (one of the reasons Morrison's last team was so horrible is that Steppe didn't play. He was the only all-ACC caliber player on the team), several JUCO transfers (Byrd, Bradford are 2 who I remember), a freshman PG named Howard...
  9. 2023 ACC News & Discussion

This is easy. Get the entire conference to agree to move to the Big 10 and we'll all be rolling in the dough. ;)
  10. Brent Key on instilling a culture of toughness at Georgia Tech

    Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
  11. Biggest Addition This Offseason

He would be fine if he learned to get more height and less distance on his punts. He out kicks his coverage too often, which sets up big returns. Also needs to work on getting kicks off a bit faster and I'm surprised he doesn't seem to know how to do the rugby style kicks very well. The...
  12. Spring Game 2023. It’s a miracle!!

Collins is coaching high school now?
  13. Spring Game 2023. It’s a miracle!!

Wow, I can finally make it to a spring game. Football on Saturday. What a revelation.
  14. What the...?

I don't consider Pastner a failure. He has been for the last two seasons, but the prior two seasons were really good. His first season was good as well. Comparing him to Collins is way off base.
  15. General News about Key and his Staff

Nah. He'd hit the ground like a wet bag of cement. Oh the humanity!
  16. General News about Key and his Staff

As God is my witness, I didn't know that elephants couldn't fly!
  17. Obscure Vocabulary Words

Too bad. My first thought was that TFG was a crapacious head coach.
  18. Is this our best coaching staff of all time?

Wasn't there an infamous quote from Marrone on the way out, something like "why work for Pepsi when you can work for Coke"?
  19. Is this our best coaching staff of all time?

Honestly, when I saw the title of the thread, l LOL'ed.
