The more I see, the more I like. Keep it going coach, I’m pulling for you. This speaks to your “they don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care” mantra.
Some guys are just naturally upbeat, positive, energetic at the point of hyperactive, charismatic types...
I don't know if he can or not, but I sure hope he does. But the fact still remains there's limited contact hours in recruiting. It's a probability game. It's a time management game. It's a how do you make your B-listers feel like A-listers game because you can bet somebody else is. You need...
My biggest hope is that CGC's plan works. Maybe he is the new Howard Schnellenberger (sp?). Maybe he can convince the local stars to stay home in the 404 and be Atlanta's team. I mean why not? I wonder if Micheal Irvin and Warren Sapp could have gotten into Tech back in the day...? I sure...
There's a give and take there. The more time you spend chasing the long shots the less time you have looking for, finding, courting and then signing hidden gems. The resource of time is finite. Contact hours is finite. This is where an army of analysts (non-coaches) would have been a nice...

I'm trying to think which is worse, a tight game where you hope to win in the end only to find (or the refs to find) a way to lose or a total and complete beat down. The last one was the latter.
If that "NFL style" offense doesn't win games, it doesn't matter how many times you say it. I agree that the messaging seems on point, though, especially if we are targeting "elite" recruits. But there are plenty of under the radar guys who play elite in college. The trick is finding them...
Every circumstance doesn’t require the same level of honesty. It’s one thing to fib a little about liking your wife’s cooking to spare her feelings, it’s a whole other thing lying to recruits or boosters about your program to get commitments.
I'm excited about Yates. But I'm just as excited to see the stable of qb's ahead of him and how the competition plays out. To single out Yates at this point is a slight against our returning qb's, imo. The last two phenom true frosh didn't start as freshmen, either. Reality suggests this one...
