I did that exact analysis a few years back and the data showed roughly 50% of that year’s top 25 had a 5 year average recruiting ranking in the top 25.
It's not just the numbers, but who we lost. We lost key guys who would have made a huge difference. And yes factory programs lose key guys, too, but they have unreal depth that next man up is little to no drop off. Not the case on the flats.
