  1. USF Postgame #USFvsGT

Not sure who you all are talking about. I assume because I have him on ignore. Lol.
  2. Any info on OL injuries?

Elaborating on my own point, let’s either (1) take on our new offensive identity, even if we will be bad doing it; or (2) stick with the CPJ run based scheme until we get CGC personnel, if that’s what it is. Doing what we are doing now is just boring and bad football, and constantly saying...
  3. Any info on OL injuries?

My problem isn’t with the O being bad. More with the lack of a gameplan or direction. Makes it seem like coaches don’t know what they are doing and just trying random stuff. Also disagree that the skill level of our O players are the reason for such a performance against USF.
  4. Gameday Experience And More

Game day experience was below average. We can’t control heat, but it seemed to me like the game moved way too slow. Lots of official breaks that were quite long. The “no huddle but wait at the line of scrimmage” makes the game go slower for some reason. Energy level was low and actual product...
  5. ATL United and UGA

ATL United Instagram posting much love for UGA. Seems disrespectful to GT. I’ve got a block of tickets to the United that were mostly going unused anyways, so I think time to cancel. Others should make their voices heard.
  6. Clemson Postgame

I don’t have a problem with us losing, and even losing bad. Playing #1 on the road in first game. My problem is two gimmick plays out of four from the two yard line. After all that talking this summer about how we were going to bring the offense into the future? And the best we got is the old...
  7. Gameday!

Wtf was that set of calls from first and goal and the 1. Don’t want to hear anyone ever refer to triple option as a gimmick offense again. Literally ran four plays in a row for a single yard, and two of them were gimmick plays. Wtf.
  8. NCAA denies waivers for Clayton, Ezzard; Sims granted immediate eligibility

Yeah. Great call. No question. Johnson would never have thought to appeal. Surprised Johnson could even tie his shoes.
  9. Coaching Acumen of the New Staff...

I don't know if I care how good at in-game adjustments CGC is. I need his OC and DC to be great, and I need Collins to be a CEO.
  10. QB question

I remember being at that game. How frustrating.
  11. Dedrick Mills

It depends on what you do. Kneel during the national anthem? Black balled for life. Punch your girlfriend in the face? Three game suspension.
  12. ESPN article

Good article. As someone that went to GT during the O'Leary years, I could definitely see why CGC would feel the way he does if that was his introduction to big time college football. I was and am a CPJ fan, and he was a breath of fresh air after Gailey, but the excitement during the O'Leary...
  13. Dedrick Mills

My point is that statistically, marijuana usage is safer than alcohol. The cigarette and alcohol lobby is quite strong though.
  14. Dedrick Mills

When’s the last time someone got really high and committed domestic violence? Or when is the last time someone got high and drove under the influence and hurt someone? Not sure what point you are trying to make here but the fact that Mills failed two drug tests does not somehow make it any...
  15. Spring Game Postgame Thread

And while here, some thoughts: 1. Definitely have some athletes. Hopefully we can make it work. 2. Nervous about DL and RB 3. Tribute or dig, who knows. Seemed tacky to me. 4. Only real complaint is players seemed to be overdoing the “swag” stuff a bit bit. Like I said im another thread, having...
  16. Spring Game Postgame Thread

Wtf has this thread become. I couldn’t talk about T-shirt colors this long if I wanted.
  17. Spring Game Postgame Thread

Ah. Having flashbacks to Friedgens offense on the flats.
  18. Was our defense hamstrung in the past?

Agree. What do you expect the players to say?
  19. Spring Game Postgame Thread

Funny but true. I would’ve loved this stuff 20 years ago. Now, I must admit I initially had the “get off my lawn...” reflex. Ultimately though, we need to give it a chance. Definitely has been a shot in the arm to our team, alumni, and fan base. there is a bright line between the thuggery of...
  20. Shapiro needs to let it go

Eh. Paul was all the rage on the local radio when he first got hired. And he beat UGA his first year. The talking heads were giving GT the same coverage then that they are giving GT now. Sometime around 2010/2011 though, something happened and the media turned on Paul. Maybe the "I'm going...
