  1. Virginia Postgame

You keep making this argument to discount 2014. Not sure why the best back to back proves your point and only explanation for why you keep referring to it is because it is outcome driven. I can play too. If what you say is true then why was his best two out of three years 2014-2016?
  2. Pitt Postgame

Maybe we should look down our bench before looking at the transfer portal.
  3. Pitt Postgame

Not just second half. They turned Pitt over three times in first half. Great showing by defense.
  4. Pitt Postgame

Yeah. We need a good kicker. Someone who doesn’t miss. Someone who has never missed a FG in their career. Anyone know where we can find one?
  5. ACC Discussion 2019

I’ll agree with that, if you agree with this: if we avoided our own penalties (false start on FG, roughing punter to extend drive, phantom PI on swilling on first TD) we win this by three possessions at least, which means we win even if Miami hits their FGs. That’s why this is a pointless...
  6. This WIN is a sneak peek of what CGC has in mind

hopefully he is not hurt. came off kind of slowly there.
  7. Miami Postgame #GTvsMIA

In my opinion we looked like the better team all day. I get that MIA missed three FGs, but we had so many huge unforced errors (penalty on punt negating a roughing the kicker, questionable PI on Swilling on first drive, etc.). We should’ve won by more.
  8. This WIN is a sneak peek of what CGC has in mind

Geez. You guys are already back to debating CGC vs CPJ. Can we just enjoy the win for a few days?
  9. Miami Postgame #GTvsMIA

Good win. Happy for CGC. You could see it on his face on the field after the game. He needed that. As critical as I have been, he took a job that a lot of others wouldn’t have.
  10. GAME DAAAAY!!!

wow. we needed that FG. too many penalties this game.
  11. GAME DAAAAY!!!

and the PI call on Swilling was a head scratcher
  12. What's the loudest you've ever heard Bobby Dodd Stadium?

putting aside the debate as to whether it was Gailey's players or CPJ's offense, when that offense was moving, it was fun to watch.
  13. A Message our Players (Reposted from the other site.)

I was there. I didn't really take it as a tribute. In any event, I just wish he would cut all that stuff out. And in some ways, I am encouraged because it seems like he has toned a lot of it down. I'm willing to give him time for the product he puts on the field. I get that we need to...
  14. A Message our Players (Reposted from the other site.)

I got no problem with that. I have a problem with acting as if you are not going to throw players under the bus, but then proceed to subtly throw players under the bus. Don't be passive aggressive. Either do it, or don't.
  15. A Message our Players (Reposted from the other site.)

You could interpret it however you want. You asked, I gave you examples. But there is more. All of the hype train about bringing GT "back" to relevance, or "into" the modern age, how he was "changing the culture at GT." Heck he even lined up in the spring game and then audibled out to a pass...
  16. A Message our Players (Reposted from the other site.)

He threw serious shade at prior regime, so there is at least that. After loss to Citadel he pinned it on the players, saying to the media STTE “in the locker room, I flagged the reasons why we lost but out here, it’s all on me” (and then proceeded to deny one of the biggest blunders which was...
  17. Apples and Oranges

I'm all on board with the fact that this is a rebuild. I'm not measuring CGC by wins and losses (mostly). The only thing I really want to see from CGC is week-to-week improvement. If I see that, I am content. But there is enough out there about how he runs this program that drives me crazy...
