What Coach wouldn’t say that? CGC when he called this the biggest transformation in the history of all sports ever about 85 times last year. Thats at least an example.
Yes. I do. Explain to me how we haven't been able to fix those mistakes. You want to throw the player under the bus? Ok, then tell me: is Nate Woody on the sidelines calling the defensive plays? Is Ted Roof drawing up the ATL chart? Is the ghost of Al Groh what is preventing us from...
You said let's look at the "larger picture," and then you literally just drew your conclusion from the same thing: a single game against a Minnesota team that would go on to win 11 of its next 13 games, including against #4 Penn State and and #12 Auburn. Keep in mind that CPJ was a lame duck...
Lol. This is so weak, but since I have seen it so many times, I have to respond. You mean the same Minnesota that ended up winning 11 of its next 13 games and being ranked #10 in the nation?
I don’t really disagree with a lot of what you said, but I just value ball security more. I would take a less productive QB over one that turns it over more. The turnovers are destroying us and destroying the team’s confidence.
But to the larger point, we haven’t seen enough from Graham to say...
I am not sure of your point. If it is that Graham was not great, I probably agree. But the question (I think) is whether Graham should be given more of a shot. If anything, the data above suggests he should. The key point is that he did not turn it over and got some production. I personally...
I guess it depends on what the “anything” is that you are looking for. The turnovers are killing momentum, and Graham didn’t turn the ball over. So to me, that was significant.
Seems like the diff between Graham and Sims. Graham is too quick to tuck and run; Sims is too willing to take a shot. Both approaches have downsides. We were way out of the game, so I would've been in favor of Graham taking the shot in that situation.
Wouldn’t surprise me. If you are a player at GT under the old regime and all you heard for a year was about the “historic transition,” seems like a possible reaction.
I have not checked to see how we compare talent wise, so I don’t know the answer to your question. But I can guarantee you that difference in talent between GT and BC or GT and Syr on the defense side at least, if there is one, is not as wide as the score margin.
This ATL may start another type of Graham speculation. He is still not ATL. Something is up. You don’t go from starter to fourth string just like that.
I would assume that this starts rolling downhill a bit. If there is only one lineman getting pressure, it is easier for the OL to focus on him. If you have multiple, makes it harder to scheme around.
Swilling back ATL. And BJS ATL at RB - has he been there before and I just missed it? Both Dylans are out?
Re Graham, whether he deserves to start or not is a question that has been debated more than it needs to be here, but odd to me that he is still not ATL.
I did watch the games. It may be that I am forgetting, I just don't have any memory of Graham sitting in a clean pocket missing WRs. Sims also throws the ball more than 30 times a game. Graham did not.
