What a win. On the road so watched on DVR. Needed that one. Although not a convincing win, never really had the feel of one where Louisville was going to come back -- and that is with Devoe playing a pretty poor game and missing some wide open looks. Banks looked very engaged, even when he...
Serious question. What do you have to do to be labeled “contributing member?” I see petty attacks on the Pastner and the players but otherwise I haven’t seen a single substantive “contribution.”
Banks play is what keyed our run. Without him we got destroyed on the glass and were giving up easy low in paint. Despite that, Pastner subs him out with 4 min left. He never got back into a rhythm and Pitt picked up some huge offensive boards to put the game away.
Had the same thought. In years past, Pastner has said he is willing to sacrifice offensive boards for getting our defense set. Wonder if his mentality has changed with this personnel.
I don't disagree. My point was simply that we aren't winning with the rotation we have, and some of that looks to be due to fatigue -- so why not try change for the sake of change?
That's fair. I wasn't as down on today's loss. The problem is, at some point you have to start winning games like this. Or at least your share of them.
I am not convinced. I think we needed Banks -- that much is for certain. But we could've given the other guys a breather. Let me put it this way - we know what happens when we don't. It's the same script every time. We run out of gas and cannot close out the game.
I meant the 2009 game. Of course you knew that, because my post was about games at BDS, and 2010 was an away game. 2009 was the year we beat VT at home. What a night. Not sure if this was before or after the triple option killed GT football, but at least that night the stadium was rocking...
Since you asked, here is my point. Pretty weak to constantly come on here and make vague references about the prior regime, and when asked for specifics, puff out your chest about how you are a former player and in the know. I get it. You are one of the players that played for GT and CPJ and...
Not sure what point you are making here (or in general, for that matter, other than your general disdain for CPJ or anyone associated with him, which is already clear). Should he volunteer to be part of the juice crew or something?
How old are you? Or maybe a better question, how long have you been a tech fan? Anyone that remembers the last few Gailey years would not say something this stupid. Gailey literally got booed during a commercial. If anything, triple option revived GT fandom. It may have run its course, but to...
So here's my question. We did not look like a poorly coached team against Duke. And this is not the first time. There have been several times where we have looked like a better coached and came in with a much better game plan.
It's not like with prior coaches, where we just couldn't figure...
I’ve been going to games for a long time, dating back to Cremins. Loudest game I can remember was GT/UNC. Going solely from memory here, but recall GT making somewhat of a run mid game. Miss a three pointer but Ish catches it and in one motion tomahawks it down. Never been louder than that...
There is no rational argument as to why players shouldn't be paid. That some would abuse the process is not a rational argument. That is already happening.
