We certainly have the size and athleticism in our S and stinger positions to be able to cover TEs, just got to see if they can put it together. I'm really excited about the talent we've been assembling on the back end of the defense the last couple years...some really good sized athletic kids in...
Yeah Kaleb Oliver really jumped off the screen to me. Oliver on defense and Mason on offense were the biggest surprises to me, and are two guys I think will really develop nicely as they get more experience.
As he was a prominent Nike athlete, I’m gonna guess they pick someone else. Maybe Joe Ham, or hell maybe they go all-in and pick Castleberry! That would be an awesome way to pay homage to our program’s history.
This question is insanely premature, but if Nate Woody is being considered for HC jobs when Paul Johnson retires then that'll mean we've looked DAMN good on that side of the ball, and paired with our consistently powerful offense will result in some really good teams...like playoffs good. If...
Amen! We're all rooting for him to make his mark with his starting opportunity and thrive over these next few years. Glad to see people in his support system have this fantastic attitude!

If we have a defense that plays like Tenuta’s squads did back in the day, we will shock some teams with big wins and really make an impression. All we’ve needed was a defense that actually puts pressure on opposing offenses, because honestly our offense already puts pressure on our opponents’...
While I’ll take your word on this (since you’ve worn football cleats WAY more recently than I have), honestly it looks to me like the “tips” of the cleats might be removable. I really wish we had a convenient “wrong shoes/spikes” excuse for why we tended to always see a whole bunch more GT...
