He might not be that involved in recruiting - maybe fly in to seal the deal for a high value prospect. He(more likely his assistants) is likely going to work the portal heavily, since that will feel more familiar to him.

IMO, this sounds like an impending disaster. Belichick was a great NFL coach, but the culture difference between the NFL and CFB is huge. Big difference between mature(for the most part) professionals and teenage amateurs....
