Its indicative that by the time our offense decided to play, our defense was frustrated and worn out.

Stick with this. This post makes the most sense of our situation.

But go back and look at how many 3 and outs, false starts/chop blocks, and punts our offense had in those games. Our offense gave the opposing teams the ball more which in turn wore our defense down.

To piggy back here Mack, our offense has made our defense look really bad at times this year. For example the Clemson game... Our defense allowed 55 points yes, but in Clemson's first 4 possessions we held them to 13 points. No bad at all against one of the best offenses in the country...

There is the question. If what we have is so wonderful... Why are more teams not running it? Not talking directly at you dabuzz.

Film Study - TECH on Offense vs UGAg

I don't know AE87. In regards to Vad's reads out of the full house. What would you say the total number of times we ran it? I would venture to say we ran the inverted veer out of the Pistol Full House/Diamond maybe a total of 10-15 times this season. At most. In comparison to 50+ times we...

Film Study - TECH on Offense vs UGAg

Very true. We couldn't go Air Raid thats for sure. But the offense we ran against UGA is definitely viable. Vad seemed more relaxed throughout the game imo. I feel that Vad would love to pass more if coach gave him the choice. But one thing I always look back at is that Vad did not operate...

Beelieve. And it can be done.

Film Study - TECH on Offense vs UGAg

Maybe I am wrong but it just seems like at this point it would be easier to tailor the offense around him more so than continue to try and get him to get better at what he struggles with. Maybe he can improve and get very good at the TO. This would be the best scenario I agree. But he has...

    GT vs. UGA Series

Wanted to look at the series over the years and throw out a few questions... UGA of course leads the all-time series 65-39-5. GT posted a 27-26-5 from 1893-1963. And in 1963, as most of you know Dodd pulled us out of the SEC. From 1933 to 1963 (SEC years) GT was a positive combined 16-13 over...

This is true. And from this I say that someone has to step up and make GT more attractive to the recruit. Bobinski? CPJ? The hill? The AA? Everyone. Its a cumulative effort. One of which I am sure they work on daily. Except the hill.

    QB Stats

Good question. I doubt it. But, I have not seen all the statistics.

Please don't rephrase what I posted. If you do that then you are changing my point. I love our offense. Probably more than most. I am simply making the point that it is not attractive to the majority of HS recruits.

    Paul Johnson

Its never 1 thing. I thinks its a mixture of the Flexbone, the Hill/Flunkgate, etc... I hate to say it but if there were a way to poll all HS football recruits then I think our offense in terms of attractiveness (what they wanted to play in) in comparison to other offenses would be near the...

I agree. Next year is a huge year for CPJ. IMO the fork is in the road scenario is laid in front of him. If we have another 7-5 year next year and lose to UGA, Miami, VT, etc... then CPJ is out the door. I like him a lot but I have a hard time seeing any school holding on to a coach who has...

Film Study - TECH on Offense vs UGAg

If you miss... Or if you don't get the first down. Plus they had 2 timeouts left. They would have had to burn at least one more to stop the clock on a run play. Not to mention they may have burnt their final timeout to ice Butker had we not converted the 3rd or 4th down.
