  1. Press Conferece

Not only is CPJ clear but for the first time I can hear the questions.
  2. Future OL

I understand Sewak starts out all his new O Linemen at center so he probably already knows who the better candidates are. (He just has not told us). I would sure eye Parker B in the future as he is the right size, comes in at the right time, and has the athletic ability, mobility, and smarts.
  3. GT (-44) vs. Alcorn State

I agree. We need lots of looks at our regular ABs, BBs, and WRs. We need to do what we need to do. We can sub at QB and OL early but that may not slow down the train. Roof plays a lot of backups on D anyway and that will not change. Otherwise take a knee inside of a minute. Alcorn has to look...
  4. Alcorn St. Roll Call

    216-row 10-seat 15
  5. Alcorn St. Roll Call

    216 row 10
  6. how does our overall team speed compare?

Not caught up with NC, Miami, or Fla St but comparable with UGA.....mostly defense issue.
  7. Linebackers

I was hoping Lewis would be that player but his not being on the depth chart is an indication that maybe he is not yet ready? I will be looking for some LB play with good pass coverage but fear this is a shortcoming with this group. Maybe superior run stopping will compensate somewhat.
  8. Linebackers

Of course PJ Davis and Marcordes and probably Lewis can bring the pass rush but who among the LBs are good coverage players, if any? I would expect Noble. Any others?
  9. Depth Chart is Here

That is a real difference maker on two accounts: affects Gamble's PT at SDE and might preserve one DT redshirt.
  10. Future OL

Griffin not eligible in 2018 but there are Stickler, Johnson, Hill, B Morgan, and Braun as T candidates.
  11. Future OL

If we do not recruit an elite center in 2016 one will have to come from moving one of the other O linemen. In 2016-2017 you can add Fromayan and Klock and at some point Stickler and Brown should break into the 2 deep as may B Morgan, not mention the three OL comittments in the 2016 class (maybe...
  12. Depth Chart is Here

The other good thing about that back 5 secondary is the depth. Both Austins can play all 5 positions, L Griffin can play N or either CB, C Griffin has experience at both safties, Durham has experience at CB. All these backups have played well in games. In addition Kagawa and Marvin have...
  13. Depth Chart is Here

I believe Rodwell was a class ahead of Butker but he redshirted his Soph year.
  14. Depth Chart is Here

Ask the UGA LBs. They were looking up at him a lot. He started last season out of shape but by mid year had caught up to Griffin (IMO) and played very well in the last 5 games or so. CPJ did say at one point his play was second to Mason on the OL. My opinion is he and Burden are very good and...
  15. Depth Chart is Here

Marcordes told me at the CFBHOF that he expected to play in the Nickel where the two linebackers are inside (Davis and Marcordes) and sometimes blitz. In the 4-3 he may play some as the OLB as Mitchell and Hankins are more the MLB type.
  16. Depth Chart is Here

Alford played a lot in the Spring Game and played very well. He has a Skov build (Fan Day). He has a lot of ST experience as well and can play all 3 LB positions. He has been around and "knows where to go".
  17. Depth Chart is Here

    You are correct.
  18. Depth Chart is Here

I missed Lewis as a surprise. Is he hurt?
  19. Depth Chart is Here

Only two RFr: 14 + 2 = 16 in that class but there are others on the roster who may move up to the depth chart ( Brown, Stickler, Jordan, Lynch, and Johnson)....21 is about right.
  20. Depth Chart is Here

Some observations on the depth chart: T Marshall is a surprise (pleasant one) as #4 AB. Howell is a surprise over Philpott (may be injury/missed practice issue) at #4 WR just based on what we have been hearing about the upside of Philpott. OL: looks like Sewak is planning on playing two...
