Here is what I was expecting. First year several wins, 2nd year playing everyone close and another win or two. Third year, corner turned, bowl game, and a promising trajectory.
It’s very hard to compare the two sports, but it was obvious that from an x and o perspective, Pastner knew what he was doing. Over the course of a couple of seasons, you can spot a well coached team versus a poorly coached squad.
What I would do is hire a retired proven College or Pro coach to sit down with Collins every Sunday. He would dissect every play and go over what worked and didn’t work. Then help him make a game plan for each week.
