Honestly? I doubt it, look at the size of Atlanta vs Columbia. There is NO good reason for the lack of fan support for Tech. I kept my season tickets for the 9 years I lived in Los Angeles for goodness sake! If I were lucky I made 1 at most 2 games during that time. All I see is bitching about...
I would kill for Tech to have the level of support that USCe gives their program. Go look at how little they have accomplished as a football program compared to Tech and the look at Williams-Brice stadium EVERY game. We should be ashamed.
In some ways I think we're saying the same thing in different ways, my point was that even schools that are academic peers in many ways Tech has challenges that no other school faces when it comes to recruiting :)
Given how long he took to make his decision public I would he's committed to it :) It would have been very easy to say I'm done with football and move on, much easier than making the decision to come back. He knows what he's facing and there are no surprises out there for him!
You're still missing the point, all of the schools I looked at are members of the Association of American Universities and as such are one of 60 such universities in the US. They award almost half the doctorates and 55% of this doctorates in science and engineering. In other words the top...
Which is why I didn't bother to look at them, the schools I used are known academic universities, are D1 and have had success in athletics. Never thought that they were apples to apples though.
