  1. Resilient Taquon Marshall: CPJ’s last QB...

Ken Sugiura is so much better a sportswriter than all of the AJC’s UGA reporters put together.
  2. Resilient Taquon Marshall: CPJ’s last QB...

Team captain, and a wonderful kid who did all he could as Coach Paul Johnson’s last quarterback at Georgia Tech. Splendid article by Ken Sugiura: https://www.ajc.com/sports/paul-johnson-last-tech-quarterback-delivers-message-resilience/GTdTeRSVcBxN1zI3JpuB9O/

  8. High school coaches impressed by Collins...

We GT fans will definitely find out how well he recruits in 2020, 2021 and 2022. And the W-L records will definitely be where the real rubber hits the road by 2023.

Nice writeup by Ken Sugiura late this evening; https://www.ajc.com/sports/college/what-high-school-coaches-say-about-geoff-collins/oeelE24cbEcFeovOhJAqcL/
  10. CGC...Break the silent treatment: HC & DC

Well, Coach Collins is in charge now and he can hire any OC he wants. I look forward to attending the Spring T-Day (or T-Night) game to find out which players have been moved to which positions, and to get some idea of the new offense and new defense. Should be fun!
  11. Graham Academically Ineligible

Hopefully Graham will buckle down and get his grades up. He can do it if he works hard.
  12. CGC...Break the silent treatment: HC & DC

One more thing. Some GT fans just like to argue. I just root, root, root for the ‘ol home team!
  13. CGC...Break the silent treatment: HC & DC

‘Ol Trombone speaketh the truth. I root for the Jackets always, through both thick and thin.
  14. CGC...Break the silent treatment: HC & DC

From what I’ve just read about that TE from NJ, he just started playing football during his senior year in high school. Another “project?”
  15. Collins start recruiting Justin Fields.....

Well, Fields is from Kennesaw, just up the road from GT. He can transfer to GT if Coach Collins wants him. One question regarding Fields, however: Can he cut it academically? We will see what happens soon enough, I guess.
  16. Assistants from Temple

Former NC State offensive coordinator Eliah Drinkwitz has been selected as the new head coach at Appalachian State.
  17. The cold hard facts of GT Offense, Defense, Head Coaches

I’ll bee glad when Coach Collins finally names his entire coaching staff, so we all will have real names to discuss and consider for the future of Georgia Tech football going forward. LOL
  18. Nate Woody . . .

Isn’t it ironic that with our new head coach hire, we’re going back to the ‘ol 4-3 multiple defense we had before.
  19. Johnson to CFP committee ???

They will eventually go to an eight-team college football playoff format for Division 1 in the future. Coach Paul Johnson is correct in recommending it.
  20. What are GT’s academic requirements for athletes?

Yes. The entire roster, including the walk-ons. The walk-ons spend lots of time on the practice field, just like the scholarshipped players, and are a very important and needed component of the entire team.
