    CPJ Radio Show tonight

Didn't some of it have something to do with Ken going around PJ to get injury info?

    CPJ Radio Show tonight

I've always thought and said PJ likes coaching at Tech because of the student athletes he has to get. He wants kids of character, not guys who are characters. I think he'd hate coaching at a factory because he'd be dealing with players' runners and their egos about pro chances. Don't get me...

Shaq Mason gives GT a good mention during Dallas game

Couldn't remember it was Nantz and Phil Simms doing the call yesterday? Anyway, I think it was Simms who mentioned Tech and its rushing offense as Shaq pulled to lead Blount downfield. Shaq didn't have anybody to block. Reminded me of him leading Laskey into the end zone against the Mutts.

Offense? Suggestions? Where do we go now?

It's taken Snoddy a couple of years to figure out how to play A-back. And now we're asking guys to learn this stuff on the fly. Plus, we don't get a lot of separation at receiver. First and foremost, we have to establish a threat at B back, whether it's Marshall or Allen. Skov, for all his...

    Clemson Postgame

He was, but the line played well last year. And with all those guys with all those starts under their belts, they should be better this year. By this time, they should have seen every front and can make these calls and adjustments in their sleep. That's not to say they don't need coaching, but...

    Clemson Postgame

Publicly, unless it's the radio show, he won't let on that much. Privately .... you have no idea how right you are.

    Clemson Postgame

Not really that true. Problem is, PJ has enough problems on offense to fix right now he can't devote any time to the defense. He may not get involved to a great extent on Saturdays, but he is Sunday-Friday. He knows the shortcomings on defense and I'm sure he's communicated his thoughts to CTR.

Way too early attempt at Perspective.

ND has got plenty of talent. But I've watched Kelly throughout his entire ND career and I just don't think he's all that and a bag of popcorn. They've recruited well but they ought to - they're Notre Dame and every game just about is on national TV, not some Fox regional directional outfit or...

    Van Gorder has improved

He's good when he has superior talent. He had it at Georgia. He has a very, very good front seven now and we couldn't get separation on their corners in man coverage. He' still an overrated piece of scum, as a coach and a person.

    Thoughts from ND on Y'all.

Maybe Bruno can go ask Clemson, Georgia and Mississippi State what they thought going into their games with CPJ and the Jackets. Notre Dame has had less than a handful of relevant seasons since their last national championship. They went 10-1 one year with Kevin McDougal at QB, losing to a last...

    VanGorder v. Sewak, 2004

BVG had to put the No. 1 defense back in. IIRC, the Dogs got a punt return in the third quarter that kinda broke it open. Then Southern started coming back and BVG had to put the starters back in. I almost started crying seeing Teddy Craft on the field in that clip. Rest his soul.
